High School Girl’s Lacrosse JV Coach
Grant High School, NE Portland, Oregon
Grant High School Girls Lacrosse Club in Northeast Portland is seeking a JV lacrosse coach. We offer a competitive salary to qualified applicants. Collegiate level playing experience is preferred, with a preferred 2 to 3 years of coaching experience. The qualified applicant will have strong leadership and motivational skills to lead our team in becoming stronger lacrosse players. We are looking to build our program in the next two years. The season runs from February through May. Coaching requires being available 5 evenings per week from 6 to 8 p.m. for practice, with most games on late weekday afternoons or evenings. All but a couple of games are in the Portland metro area. The Grant High School Girls Lacrosse Club has an active board of directors and parents who provide continued administrative support, allowing coaches to focus on coaching. Glencoe is seeking an experienced head coach and assistant coach for the 2009 season. Prior playing or coaching experience is desired. Coaches must be able

Candidate should have extensive knowledge of the game and a minimum of two year’s coaching is preferred as well as prior competitive playing experience. The candidate will be an ambassador of Jesuit High School and a role model for student athletes. Candidate will need to be available 5 days a week in the evenings and have a flexible schedule. Sunset High School (Portland) is seeking qualified Assistant coaches for their women's lacrosse program. Collegiate level playing
experience is a must for all applicants. The right individuals will work together with experienced Varsity, JV, and Assistant Coaches
to train and inspire lacrosse players at all skill levels. Small squad sizes and low player/coach ratios maximize player potential,
while a strong belief in aggressive game scheduling keeps players challenged. Coaches in our club receive strong support from the
parent run board, and can concentrate fully on the players and the games, rather than administrative or operational duties.
Sunset Lacrosse is prepared to offer competitive compensation to the right individuals. The Season runs from February – May 2009.
Coaches should be available for practices 5 nights/week starting late February, with games during the week, however part time is a

West Linn High School Girls Lacrosse Program (West Linn, OR) s looking for a JV Coach for the 2007-2008 Spring
Lacrosse Season. We are looking for an applicant who is experienced with the women's game, with either playing or
coaching experience. They must be able to attend both practice and games (both JV and Varsity). This would be a five
night a week commitment with some weekend days. Some traveling may be involved and practice times will vary.
They must have good leadership skills and be able to foster a "team" environment so the girls can learn and grow as
lacrosse players. They must be able to teach the fundamental skills of the game; run an organized practice that is
geared towards the level of the girls and be able to set up a basic game strategy. The applicant will work within
our current coaching "team" concept to help build a family environment so the girls can be the very best they can be.

Wilson High School Girls Lacrosse in SW Portland, Oregon is seeking three coaches for the spring 2009 season: Varsity and JV coaches as well as an assistant coach to work with both the Varsity and JV teams.
The Varsity coach will be in charge of the overall Wilson girls’ lacrosse program and the head coach for the varsity team. The Varsity team has just come off a very successful winning season in Portland Interscholastic League and has improved its record every year since the start of the program four years ago. Only four players from last year’s Varsity team have graduated and the team is poised to become one of the top-tier teams in the state.
The JV coach will be responsible for teaching the fundamentals of the game, developing efficient, challenging practice plans appropriate for their skill level, and managing basic game strategy. Our JV players will all have 2-4 years of experience at the middle-school & JV levels, most coming up through our large and competitive youth program.
The Assistant coach will work with both teams, helping a large group of players to improve their individual and tactical lacrosse skills.
The season runs from mid February through May. The preferred applicants will be available 5 afternoons/nights a week for practice with games on weekdays. However, we would consider a part time commitment for the assistant position if necessary. Qualified applicants will have strong leadership and motivational skills, and prior playing and coaching experience in girls’ lacrosse. All coaches will work together to develop Wilson Girls Lacrosse into a consistently competitive, well-organized program. We offer extremely competitive salaries. All coaches will find a very supportive and competitive environment at Wilson, as well as a very enthusiastic and involved parent community.
